We are particularly enthusiastic in

experience for our students. Our Student
Support Service aims to help students
in achieving their EHS educational
and professional development goals
and seeks to provide assistance and
counsel to students throughout their
course of study.
Our team of teaching staff comprises
a good mix of local lecturers as well
as professors from our partner universities.
We are supported by 5 full-time in-house
EHS consultants, 6 part-time associate
lecturers from the industry and more
than 10 academic professors from the
associated universities to teach and
interact with the students, sharing
their collective knowledge and professional
experience. In order to ensure sufficient
contact between the students and the
lecturers, we maintain a student-teacher
ratio of 40:1. This good mix of practising
professionals and academia provides
solid theoretical foundation with
industrial realism in EHS practices,
creating an unrivalled and industry-relevant
educational and professional development
experience for our students.
Not only do we have a diverse pool
of lecturers, we also have the facilities
to support the delivery of the courses.
We have a student resource library
with IT access and a rich collection
of books specially selected for EHS
knowledge acquisition. Lessons are
taught in the auditorium hall, theatrette
or 2 training rooms, which together
seat approximately a total of 500
students, situated at the prestigious
PSB Building in Science Park. The
rooms are fully equipped with overhead
projector, slide projector, computer/video
projection screen, microphones, colour
TV, VCR, whiteboards and flipchart
stand for an engaging classroom experience.
We also conduct lessons at the PSB
state-of-the-art laboratories, giving
students a real sense of working in
a commercial laboratory.
All payable fees are clearly outlined
and explained. Students are welcome
to seek clarifications on payment
matters with our friendly staff.
We seek to provide a cordial environment
for our students and will endeavour
to address any issue raised by students
in grievance within 1 working day.
Our Dispute-Resolve Officer will guide
the students with the relevant procedures
and counsel.
